Getting Here
**Please note that prices and timings change constantly in Cambodia and all of the below is based on information we have at the time of writing. We also ask that you please call us the day before your departure to Nomads Land so that we can assist you with your travel preparations.**
From Koh Kong
Take the first morning tourist bus heading to Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville. Times vary but buses usually leave between 6am and 8am – check with your hotel/hostel. Ask the driver to drop you off at Café Sok Srei (around two hours from Koh Kong), which is 6km before the town of Andoung Teuk. We will provide you with the phone number for Café Sok Srei – ask your driver to give them a call if he is unsure of the location.
At Café Sok Srei they will be able to arrange a seat for you on one of the local minibuses ($7.5) going to Poi Yopon (around two hours). Poi Yopon is the local fishing village located in front of the Koh Sdach archipelago. From here we will pick you up in a boat to transfer over to Nomads Land (15 mins).
From Phnom Penh

Ask the driver to drop you off at Café Sok Srei (around three hours from phnom Penh), which is 6km after the town of Andoung Teuk. We will provide you with the phone number for Café Sok Srei – ask your driver to give them a call if he is unsure of the location.
At Café Sok Srei they will be able to arrange a seat for you on one of the local minibuses ($7.5) going to Poi Yopon (around two hours). Poi Yopon is the local fishing village located in front of the Koh Sdach archipelago. From here we will pick you up in a boat to transfer over to Nomads Land (15 mins).
From Sihanoukville
Take the early morning tourist bus heading to Koh Kong and ask the driver to drop you off at Café Sok Srei (around three hours from Sihanoukville), which is 6km after the town of Andoung Teuk. We will be able to give you the number for Café Sok Srei – ask your driver to give them a call if he is unsure of the location.
If you are coming on this bus, it is best to go to the bus station in Sihanoukville the day before your departure to check the leaving time and buy your ticket. From Café Sok Srei they will be able to arrange a seat for you on one of the local minibuses ($7.5) going to Poi Yopon, which is the local fishing village located in front of the Koh Sdach archipelago. From here we will pick you up in a boat to transfer over to Nomads Land (15 mins).
Alternatively you can catch the local fishing boat ($10), which leaves the pier in Sihanoukville every other day at approximately 12.30pm. This boat journey usually takes six hours. This boat drops you off on Koh Sdach where we can pick you up to transfer over to Nomads Land (15 mins). Give us a call for more info on this option.
From Kampot
Local minibuses run every other day from Kampot. Please give us a call when you arrive in Cambodia so that we can assist you with your travel arrangements.
Notes…
If you catch the early morning tourist buses leaving Koh Kong or Sihanoukville you will be in time to make the connection to the local minibuses heading to Poi Yopon. If you miss your connecting minibus the only option to get to Poi Yopon is on the back of a moto from Café Sok Srei ($20 per person).
From any destination we can also organise private taxi’s to drop you at Poi Yopon. Regular taxi’s can fit four people and cost approximately $120 for one-way and minibuses with room for 15 people cost $180 one-way.
The pick up from Poi Yopon and Koh Sdach is free of charge on arrival with our private boat. Departure from Nomads Land costs $5 per person (min 2 people) to Koh Sdach, and $8 per person (min 2 people) to Poi Yopon.
